Staffordshire Flatback Figure

One of the campest Staffordshire that I have ever found . . . and most of them are at least slightly camp.

This gentleman has vine fruit over his shoulder, a wicker basket of flowers, a bright kilt and some rather flashy knee-length Argyle socks . . . in short he’s my style inspiration for 2021.

Originally made to sit on a mantelpiece and therefore rather plain and undecorated to the reverse he would look equally at home in that location today. Otherwise he could stand on a shelf, sideboard, or dresser serving side eye realness on everything before him.

In good condition with no chips or cracks.
