Set of 5 Staffordshire Flatback Cards

We have long been fans of Staffordshire flatback figures in almost all of their variations; from pairs of dogs to romantic folk heroes. Over the years we have accumulated a library of photographs of the Staffordshire ceramics that we have sold. What makes each piece different from the others is the hand painted final details; it is these that give each piece their character . . . . be that grumpy and downtrodden or ebullient and joyful.

There are 5 different cards in this pack. The cards are A6 size and are printed for us at Orphan’s in Leominster, Herefordshire. The cards are blank inside so that they can be used for all missives and occasions. They come with a self-seal kraft brown recycled envelope that will save you accumulated hours in not having to lick envelopes in order to seal them.

The reverse of the cards has a simple motif that is reminiscent of pottery backstamps.
