This card is one from our range of cards by the Norwich based publishing house, Art Angels. They produce a range of cards by contemporary artists and illustrators as well as a range by revered and respected artists such as  Ben Nicholson, Winifred Nicholson, John Piper, Eric Ravilious and Paul Nash. These cards feature works by Christopher Wood (1901-1930).

Wood was encouraged to develop his painting by Augustus John who he met while at Liverpool University. By the mid 1920s he was an established artists whose work was influenced by the primitivism of Alfred Wallis and his friendship with Ben and Winifred Nicholson.

All of the cards are blank inside and thus have space for whatever message you wish to write.

Measurements:

Each card measures 14cm x 17cm and comes with an envelope.
