Kenyan Roller Bird Coffee Print
This multi-layer screen print was made by Toucan Tango for Hundred House Coffee.
Hundred House Coffee is ruin by our friends Matt and Anabelle from their roastery in the Corvedale. The print is made by Luce and Scott who run the illustration and print company Toucan Tango in Brighton.
The lilac-breasted roller bird that features on the print is the national bird of Kenya; as Kenya is one of the largest growers of coffee the series of linking coffee and birds grew out of that connection.
The print would look great in a kitchen or study space – both places where you might feel the beneficial fuel of coffee!
Due to the hand printed nature of screen-printing each print might differ slightly from another. The print is made up of 4 different coloured inks: light blue, dark blue, pink and yellow. Where these have been laid over each other you get other colours as well.
