For what is Christmas for if it isn’t for arson! I jest, it is of course for the ritualistic lighting of fires and candles. The stereotypical blazing yule log in the fireplace and the advent candles and crowns might be just that  . . . . a stereotype . . . but the physical and atmospheric warmth that they bring is certainly a comfort year round.

This box of matches is made by Archivist and the matches measure just over 28cm. There are 45 matches per box and a long strike section on one of the lengths of the box.
