Sometimes the supersize version of the ordinary thing is just want you really really want. So . . . a giant matchbox fills that brief.

Archivist have taken 3 of their great designs – which themselves are influenced by classic Indian matchbox designs of the 20th Century – and have scaled them up. For a sense of the scale they are photographed with the regular square matchboxes . . . which in themselves contain a longer match than normal.

Each box contains 150 matches which are made from orange, pink and yellow coloured wood with a white tip. The long side of the box is the strike surface.

We have all three designs: Just So, Tiger and The Inseparables.

Would make an excellent gift for a pyromaniac!
