Big Box of Matches – Check Mate

These large match boxes, with their great graphics, contain approximately 100 matches. They make a lovely gift (maybe to accompany a scented candle) and are a handsome, and useful, thing to have standing on a mantelpiece.

Designed by Archivist in-house drawing on their knowledge of historical matchbox desifbs and the techniques used to print them. This one draws on the history of matchbox graphic design in Scandinavia.
