Description
Botany Plant Pot – Terracotta
These plant pots come in two parts; the upper broader part holds your plant and the lower section acts as a stand/saucer. The top part has a drainage hole which will allow access water to accumulate in the saucer rather than forcing your plant to sit with its roots in water.
I have photographed it here with quite a large specimen of Asparagus Sprengeri which I purchased from the excellent Ashwood Nurseries.
The saucer is glazed internally whereas the plant pot and the exterior of the saucer are unglazed. The whole is conceived by London based product designer Aaron Probyn and is made in Sri Lanka.
Also available in a graphite black clay finish.
Measurements (as a whole)
Diameter: 18cm
Height: 18.5cm
Internal diameter of plant pot – 17cm – in case you want to slip a plastic pot directly into it.
