It’s the annual food fight/festival that is Ludlow Food Festival this weekend. There’ll be demonstrations, book signings, more jars of chutney than sensible and just maybe the gem of a new product. Not being a food specific retailer our offering doesn’t necessarily chime with the event but amongst our current stock there are a few items that fit on the fringes of the culinary bullseye: new cookery books from Spuntino and Nopi, chocolate form Edinburgh based chocolatiers Coco, oak tongs from the Forest of Dean, jade rolling pins from Danish design house HAY, handsome matches to light your gas stove with and a great selection of tableware and mugs from which to consume the last sausage roll that you managed to grab at the Food Festival.
