Black Bough linen napkins | 15.1.14

This morning’s view has mostly been almost the same colour as the sky; a flat grey (it’s a bit like a flat white, only . . . duller and not coffee related).

I made some pale grey linen napkins for the shop in November last year that sold really well; so hopefully this morning’s stint on the sewing machine will prove equally useful. Apart from the colour (which is lovely) there’s something really nice about 100% linen napkins; they wash nicely, the texture is really satisfying and are just one of those small things that are a joy to use.

There are more pale grey napkins in the offing . . . if not this afternoon, then soon.
