Given our revised winter shop opening hours, we took advantage of currently being closed on Sundays and took off for Penwith a fortnight ago. Scene of almost all of my childhood holidays, Penzance and North and Westwards holds a special draw.
A days driving down there, a day there and a day driving back (via West Sussex not particularly conveniently) – it was still worth it.
While Mount’s Bay was relatively calm, a quick trip across the peninsula to Sennen showed the might of the sea.
